Alok is a technologist who brings unique set of experience, expertise and passion in developing ideas & technology into successful products and services. His special area of interests includes digital media (Web2.0 and Mobile) and SaaS. Alok has been involved as a senior executive (CEO/GM, VP Marketing/Business Development) with several Internet properties (Mobifusion, LiquidPrice, Intellimatch) and product development services company (SoftPlus and InfoObjects) for the past 15 years. In addition, he has worked at Sun Microsystems (SUNW) in various Enterprise Software product management, market development and engineering roles.

Alok was a Ph. D candidate in Physics at University of Pittsburgh where he also earned a dual Master’s degree in Physics and Computer Science. He received a BS (Hons) from Presidency College, Kolkatta. He has attended many executive management courses at Stanford and UC Berkeley.
